An international wake-up call

I just finished reading A Life On Our Planet. Sir David Attenborough is a world renowned naturalist. He's spent his life telling the story of the living planet Earth, its plants and animals, changing habitat. He's witnessed first hand the creation of the climate crisis, the destruction of biodiversity, and the unwilding of the world. The first third of the book is a description of all the places he's been and things he's seen. The second is an explanation of those things that details how humanity has imperiled its future in the pursuit of unsustainable growth. The final third is a message of hope, outlining the things we need to do to fix it. It's scary and hopeful and important. The suggestions section includes increasing education and standards of living for everyone and dismantling capitalism. Highly recommend it.
